Our Certifications – HERBCIENCE

Many claims to be natural but what’s the proof that they are natural? We are India’s first and only 100% Natural brand certified by ECOCERT- Cosmos Natural Standard, France.

COSMOS is the highest global standard that guarantees consumers organic or natural products; with their stringent qualification criteria (qualification on ingredients, sources, formulations, packaging etc) that companies must meet to ensure that their products are genuine, organic or natural cosmetics, produced to the highest feasible sustainability practices.

ECOCERT is a Natural/Organic certification body, founded in France, which conducts inspections in over 130 countries, certifying organic and natural products across the world. It is also the world’s leading specialist in the certification of sustainable practices. This certification allows a user to be sure that the products used have natural ingredients and are safe from hazardous chemicals.

They have strict guidelines that make it hard to get certified by ECOCERT and only 2-3 brands are certified by ECOCERT- Cosmos Natural in India.

AYUSH is India’s highest regulatory authority by the Government of India.  It certifies Ayurvedic or Herbal products in India. HERBCIENCE is certified by AYUSH, Government of India.

It was introduced as a mark of quality to distinguish products that are made with certain standards because the market has plenty of manufacturers of such products - each with a very different standard of quality and production.

The AYUSH mark tells the consumer that the brand follows government-prescribed standards of production and quality. The AYUSH products are regulated under the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, of 1940 by the Drugs Controller General of India.
